What is happiness, is not an easy question to answer, but La Feliz has its own answer: it is the love of touching, of feeling, of working the material; it is the ability of letting go and being transformed by it. It is the passion for breaking the barriers of what is possible. In other words, happiness is the result of creation.

In La Feliz, what seemed impossible becomes real. The wood bends like a rope and the ropes end up being as hard as the trunk of a tree. Threads that fence fields are transformed into chairs and nets that protect the fruits become soft lamp screens. To believe it, one needs to touch it, since it is not enough only with sight. It is as if our perception has been altered. In fact, it is the world that has been taken.

The designers of La Feliz have taken the materials, but they as well have been taken by them. This is the way of love: one does not take someone without being taken by them at the same time. But as the materials are transformed, it is never because of an outside force. On the contrary, they rule what they are to become and what their use will be. At the origin, there is not an idea of a table present, nor of a lamp, not even the idea of a sphere or a cube. At the source there is a material to be found, with its identity, its memory, its will, and La Feliz does not other than to provide the conditions for its expression.

LA FELIZ.
